RN​/LPN PRN Nights

POSITION SUMMARY:

RN/LPN is responsible for providing care to clients including but not limited to administering medication, taking vitals, and assessing medical needs.

• Assist with the taking and recording of daily client vital signs and assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as per provider protocol.
• Assist with client admissions and discharges.
• Record client observations and report to the medical team as needed.
• Compassionately interact with the client population to encourage engagement in treatment.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Attend staff trainings and meetings as required by the employer.
• Communicate with the pharmacy as needed.
• Complete client nursing admissions, including intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, and Gene Sight swabbing.
• Follow all policies and procedures regarding client information protection, including alcohol‑drug client confidentiality and HIPAA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current unrestricted licensure in TN (as required by facility) as an RN or LPN.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and in written form.
• Ability to work with chemically dependent and psychiatric patients in a non‑judgmental, compassionate manner.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff and referral sources.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from a variety of data, dealing with abstract and concrete variables.
• Experience working with people in recovery and/or mental health treatment is a plus.
