The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Registered Nurse in the Admissions Unit
, at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.
Salary Range - $72,000 - $94,000 based on experience
Shifts Available
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Assess client health problems and needs, address current and immediate concerns. Complete vital signs and document. Review and determine immediate needs such as current medications and treatments. Evaluate and notify doctor/psychiatrist for evaluation and implementation of orders. Administer medications as needed. Administer nursing care to patients as needed or required. May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention and refer to Social Service within the Admission area as needed.
Job Responsibilities & Performance StandardsAssociate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or Multistate license.
