• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and screenings.
• Review patient medical history and ensure all necessary clearances are obtained.
• Educate patients and families on pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active LPN license in the state.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in pre‑admissions, pre‑op, PACU, or a hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
