Stay sharp and supported every step of the way
- Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in maintaining quality care standards
- Supervise Nursing Services
- Ensure the delivery of passionate quality care
- Oversee competency testing for nursing personnel
- Prepare for state inspection surveys
- Collaborate with department heads for resident care
- Provide 24-hour "on call" service for emergencies (Rotational Service)
- Manage and define goals and roles within the nursing department
- Build and lead a nursing leadership team
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to carry out physician orders
- Infection Control
- Assist with wound care
- RN licensed
- 5 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- At least 2 years in a nursing supervisory role
