Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN or Medical Assistant; MA | Shelby Rural Health Clinic

This position assists the physician/provider with the examination and treatment of patients and performs routine tasks per scope of practice. Responsibilities may include:

• Preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Collecting and documenting patient information, vital signs, and medical histories.
• Assisting providers during examinations and treatments.
• Administering medications, immunizations, or treatments as permitted by scope of practice.
• Coordinating follow‑up care, referrals, testing, and patient communication.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Providing education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborating with providers and clinic staff to create a positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Must meet the education, certification, registration, and/or Montana licensure requirements for either Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA).
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

Job Details: full‑time (40 hours per week); four 10‑hour shifts per week; day shift; located in Shelby, Montana.
