The primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Advanced Wound Care Center. Ability to assist patients in home needs to continue wound care plan of care. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. Is cross‑trained to cover in HBO. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the hospital.

Promotes a supportive environment that encourages teamwork.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School or Professional Nursing. Licensure/Certification:
• Current RN licensure with the Tennessee State Board of Nursing
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years med-surg experience. Wound Care Experience preferred

In our 4,577-square-foot Advanced Wound Care and Vascular Center, we treat complex and minor wounds with greater resources and accessibility. Our clinic prioritizes limb loss prevention, healing for diabetic ulcers and hard‑to‑heal wounds.

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state‑of‑the‑art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB‑GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

They also have access to (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
