Medical Surgical Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical treatment within a fast-paced hospital environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and ensure optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, IV management, and mobility assistance.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech system.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changing clinical conditions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Demonstrate compassion, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Be proficient in patient assessment, clinical procedures, and documentation.
• Meet hospital-specific certification requirements and adhere to dress code standards.
• Capable of working rotating shifts, including weekends, with flexibility for float policy.
