American Traveler is hiring a Med-Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment on an Ortho/Spine unit, requiring 2 years of experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

• Hospital-based Med-Surg unit specializing in Ortho/Spine care
• 12-bed unit with patient ratios of 5-6:1
• Unit staffed with 1 PCT for patient care support
• General Med-Surg equipment utilized
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Floating required within facility Med-Surg units
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience required
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Provide direct patient care on a newly established Ortho/Spine unit
• Must be team-oriented and compassionate
• Unit maintains a 75% patient experience satisfaction target
• Navy scrubs required as part of dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
