Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through compassionate and efficient treatment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient progress accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate patient care activities.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety procedures, and certifications requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med-Surg setting.
• Demonstrate strong team-oriented and compassionate care skills.
• Proficient in general Med-surg procedures and documentation systems.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts, including weekends.
• Familiarity with hospital policies and adherence to dress code standards.
