Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately using Meditech system.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other staff to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines, including dress code and equipment use.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and compassionate patient care skills.
• Proficiency in using medical equipment such as IV pumps and telehealth systems.
• Able to work 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• BLS certification required.
