Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a medical-surgical unit. The RN will support patient recovery and ensure excellent clinical outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing medical-surgical treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech documentation system.
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform procedures as per unit protocols.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and assist with emergencies and complications.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and unit-specific guidelines, including floating policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and compassionate patient care skills.
• Have proficiency in Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems.
• Hold current certifications as required, such as BLS and ACLS.
• Able to work evening shifts, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
• Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital setting and follow protocols.
