Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical
Location:
Chattanooga, TN
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description:
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical unit with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and support. Ideal candidates will demonstrate teamwork, compassion, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 30-bed unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including those with respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal diseases.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize medical equipment effectively, including IV pumps and SCDs.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation using Meditech.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Advanced skills in Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
