Registered Nurse - Ortho/Spine
Location:
Chattanooga, TN
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in orthopedics to join our dynamic team on the Ortho/Spine unit. This unit focuses on providing care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients in the Ortho/Spine unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changing conditions effectively.
- Assist with procedures performed on the unit, including but not limited to knee and hip replacements, and multi-level spine surgeries.
- Ensure adherence to unit guidelines and policies to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid RN License in the state of practice.
- Strong background in orthopedic nursing is essential.
- Compassion and teamwork skills are a must.
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
