Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 3
West Cardiac Unit. The ideal candidate will have cardiac knowledge and experience with advanced medication management. This unit features a patient ratio of 6:1, ensuring focused care for each individual.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct bedside and hourly rounding ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Manage cardiac drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.
- Perform procedures such as chest tube management, wound vac management, and EKGs as required.
- Document telemetry applications and patient assessments accurately.
- Coordinate with PCTs on patient needs and departmental focus areas.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN licensure in the state.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Cardiac knowledge preferred.
