American Traveler is hiring a Med-Surg/Ortho RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2 years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

• Work in the 5 West Med-Surg/Ortho unit of a hospital setting
• 12-bed unit with patient ratios of 5-6:1
• Unit staffed with 1 PCT for support
• General med-surg equipment used
• Meditech documentation system used
• Schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating within facility med-surg units required
• 13-week assignment

• Active RN license (TN or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med-Surg specialty experience required
• Team-oriented and compassionate demeanor required
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care on a newly established unit within the hospital
• Deliver med-surg and orthopedic nursing care to assigned patients
• Unit maintains a patient experience goal of 75%
• Required to wear navy scrubs as part of dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
