* As our Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will utilize your advanced training and skills to provide direct patient care within the Cardiology department, under the supervision of a physician.
Every day you will assess, diagnose, and treat cardiology patients, manage their care plans, and ensure comprehensive, high-quality service delivery in collaboration with the medical team.
To be successful in this role, you will be a certified Nurse Practitioner with specialized cardiology expertise, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to effectively collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
+ Obtain medical histories when necessary.
+ Perform physical exams (within established protocol).
+ Diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines).
+ Order diagnostic tests.
+ Prescribe or recommend medications for treatment (within protocol guidelines).
+ Promote positive healthy lifestyle habits to all patients through education and counseling.
** Job Requirements*
* Required
+ Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. and One year previous experience as an NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience, upon hire and
+ Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire and
+ Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire and
+ Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire or
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
Preferred
+ Cardiology experience

** Pay Range*
* $46.17 - $68.67
