Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting. Responsible for delivering quality patient care, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical data to identify changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure with current state registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
