Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive medical-surgical care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes during a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg experience.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
