Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and high-quality care on a medical-surgical unit. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to manage multiple patient needs efficiently.
• Proficiency with equipment such as IV pumps, SCDs, and walkers.
