Travel Registered Nurse needed for an 8-week assignment in a correctional facility near Cleveland, TN. Provide nursing care to inmates while ensuring safety and compliance with security protocols. Deliver high-quality health services in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates, including assessments, treatments, and health education.
Collaborate with security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment during health interventions.
Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in electronic health records.
Execute emergency procedures and respond to urgent health issues promptly.
Maintain compliance with security protocols and facility rules during shifts.
Valid Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Valid CPR certification.
Optional initial or refresher training in correctional health.
Minimum of 2 years of corrections or psychiatric nursing experience.
Background clearance to work in a secure environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under security measures with a guard present during shifts.
Skills:
Prior experience working with inmates or in a correctional health setting.
Weekly direct deposit at rates 13% above market average.
