Veterinary Criticalist

Overview

Med Vet New Orleans is seeking an additional veterinary criticalist (board-certified or residency-trained) to join the established Critical Care team at our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and has excellent communication skills with fellow colleagues, clients, and the referral community. The healthcare team includes great clinical services team members (our well-trained technicians), a community of Critical Care specialists across our organization, and medical leaders who understand what it takes to deliver profession-leading specialty and emergency care.

• Our AAHA-accredited hospital provides 24/7 Emergency Care and has experts in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Medical Oncology, Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery.
• We offer a state-of-the-art facility with the technology, equipment, and clinical support you need to provide exceptional care. Our hospital is equipped with high-flow oxygen, mechanical ventilation, and MR imaging. We offer hemoperfusion, hemodialysis, hemoperfusion, apheresis, electrochemotherapy, immunotherapy, and more. We performed our 300th extracorporeal therapy in the fall of 2024!
