About the Role

We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our Quality team. In this role, you will help ensure product quality and food safety by performing laboratory testing on in-process and finished products. This position requires attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to follow established procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine laboratory tests on products and samples.

+ Record and enter test results accurately into company systems.

+ Follow GMP, GLP, HACCP, and other quality standards.

+ Receive, label, store, and manage samples properly.

+ Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

+ Identify and report quality issues or unusual test results.

+ Maintain testing supplies and communicate inventory needs.

+ Work closely with Quality, Production, and other departments.

+ Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and safe.

+ Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

+ Previous laboratory experience preferred.

+ Strong computer and data entry skills.

+ Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Analytical laboratory experience.

+ Experience working in a quality, food production, or manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

This role requires working off-shift hours, including evenings, overnight shifts, and rotating schedules. The position is based in a laboratory setting within a manufacturing facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
