Quality Control Technician

Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:

• Test asphalt, aggregate, and recycled materials in a lab
• Prepare and test pavement samples
• Keep clear and accurate records of test results
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
• Help create asphalt mix formulas and quality control plans
• Work with plant operators and TDOT to ensure quality standards are met
• Other duties as assigned

Quality Control Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Basic math skills and general science knowledge
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work long shifts and flexible hours
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
• Able to walk distances and lift 50+ lbs as needed
• Willing to wear required safety gear (PPE)
• Must pass a drug screen and physical
