• Ensure the sales floor stays runway‑ready by merchandising, straightening, and maintaining stock levels throughout the day.
• Assist customers with cashiering across multiple platforms (in‑store, online, mobile), operate a point‑of‑sale system, and bag items of all sizes.
• Provide fitting room support: greet customers, help rotate clothes, and return items to the floor.
• Maintain a clutter‑free customer experience by sorting and returning merchandise.
• Check inventory in stockrooms and accurately ticket merchandise.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset‑protection standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards and other store initiatives.

• Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver incoming merchandise to selling departments.
• Process and ship customer orders following quality and packing standards.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, research, and process merchandise shipments.
• Assist with floor and stockroom organization, markdowns, and relocation of store fixtures.
• Provide general support for special events and store setup.

• Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Frequent grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling of merchandise.
• Lift items up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds; up to 50 pounds for stock and fulfillment.

$15.70 – $16.30 per hour (location dependent).
