Sales Consultant

Imperial Dade is a leading distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies in North America, serving over 120,000 customers across various business-to-business markets.

The Sales Consultant develops and grows our business by identifying and qualifying new leads, building relationships with potential customers, and closing deals.

• Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Contact customer leads through cold calling.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and budget.
• Increase sales within existing accounts by introducing new items.
• Connect with lost accounts and re-establish relationships.
• Enter sales orders.
• Collaborate with the sales manager to solve customer problems and needs.
• Attend sales and other meetings.
• Participate in all company spiffs and promotions.
• Follow our Sales Training Policies.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in Food service, Jan/San, or Packaging.
• Outstanding selling, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
