Outside Sales Representative

Salary range: up to $85,000 with commission potential up to $150,000 and a complete benefits package.

The agency focuses on recruiting and placing permanent talent in cross‑industry and hybrid functions across Executive and Professional, Logistics and Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations.

• Contact customers through direct contact, correspondence, and telephone channels to sell products, resolve issues, and address queries.
• Explore new product opportunities, manage orders, and analyze marketing trends for assigned products.
• Prospect and sell to end users within a specific geographical area.
• Work closely with Inside sales, technical, and engineering teams to create customized solutions that meet customer needs.
• Assist with trade shows and coordinate all sales efforts.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments—manufacturing, shipping, engineering, quality, production, service, and sales—as well as external customers via telephone, fax, and e‑mail.

• At least three years of relevant machinery sales experience in architectural sheet metal, HVAC, metalworks, and/or sheet metal fabrication environments.
• Knowledge of the metal roofing business is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand customers' operations and recommend tailored machine solutions.

• Typical on‑site hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Ideal commutes are to client facilities in Illinois or Tennessee.
• Travel for fieldwork will be domestic (including Canada and Mexico) 50–70% of the time, typically Monday to Friday with home on Saturday and Sunday.
