Our client is a rapidly growing industrial automation and systems integration company launching the next phase of expansion. Backed by a strong technical delivery team and an established reputation for execution, they're seeking their first dedicated Business Development Manager to help drive growth across manufacturing, utilities, industrial operations, and infrastructure markets.
This is not a maintenance-account role.

- Manage opportunities from prospecting through project award
- Partner with engineering and technical teams to develop customer‑focused solutions
- Expand market presence and establish long‑term client relationships
- Help drive revenue growth for a rapidly expanding automation business
- Experience selling industrial automation, controls, integration services, technical solutions, or industrial technology
- Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, controls platforms, or automation environments
- Proven track record of business development and relationship management
- Ability to communicate with both technical and operational stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Ignition platform exposure
- Controls integration or automation project experience
- Existing manufacturing, industrial, or utility relationships
- Experience selling project‑based technical solutions
- Background working with engineers, operations teams, or plant leadership
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
- Uncapped Commission Structure
- On‑Target Earnings: $200,000+
