Used Truck Salesperson

Job Overview

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group, is hiring a Used Truck Salesperson. The role involves selling used trucks by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects within an assigned territory, requiring broad knowledge of the Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques.

• Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within the territory and engage in aggressive telephone marketing.
• Maintain contacts with customers, staying current on their requirements, market, and customer trends.
• Identify and profile prospective customers, developing and applying strategies necessary to secure orders.
• Make company services available to customers.
• Refer complaints and leads to the proper department managers.
• Report on competitive activity.
• Keep records and make reports on all phases of activities.
• Write used truck appraisals in the absence of the Used Truck Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Broad knowledge of Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques.

• Direct sales or truck sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• High energy level and positive attitude.
• CDL preferred.
