Business Development Representative

R.E. Garrison Trucking Inc. seeks a driven Business Development Representative to help grow our refrigerated and dry van freight network. In this role, you will prospect and qualify new shippers and brokers, conduct outbound calls and emails, and build a healthy pipeline of opportunities. You'll collaborate closely with sales and operations to match customer needs with our temperature-controlled and dry van capacity.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and motivated by goals, eager to build long-term relationships in a safety-first, family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new shipper and broker prospects in the transportation and warehousing market
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, and online outreach to build a strong sales pipeline
• Schedule and support meetings and demos for senior sales leaders
• Collaborate with operations and dispatch to understand capacity, lanes, and service capabilities
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track activities, and report on lead and opportunity status
• Support pricing requests, RFP responses, and customer onboarding tasks
• Build and maintain professional relationships with prospects through consistent follow-up
