Business Development Manager, Commercial Solar Construction
A rapidly growing, well-capitalized general contractor is expanding its renewable energy platform and hiring a Solar Business Development Manager to help scale utility-scale solar power plant construction projects
.
This is a high-visibility, revenue-driving role focused on building relationships with developers and securing new project opportunities across a strong and growing pipeline.
What You’ll Do- Drive new business across utility-scale solar power plant construction projects
- Build relationships with developers, EPCs, and key stakeholders
- Lead pursuits from origination through contract execution
- Partner with preconstruction and operations teams to win and deliver projects
- Required: Experience in solar power plant construction (EPC or GC environment)
- Proven background in business development, project development, or sales within solar construction
- Strong network with developers, owners, or EPC partners
- Track record of winning work and building pipeline
- Solid understanding of the solar project lifecycle (development → construction → commissioning)
- Backed by an established, reputable contractor investing heavily in solar
- Direct exposure to leadership and strategy
