Pay Rate: $17.99 - $23.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Support communication and coordination with onsite personnel, visitors, and/or public sector representatives during routine operations and emergency situations.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
