Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support access activity with professionalism.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, dock areas, parking areas, and other assigned spaces within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit activity, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or policy violations.
• Observe site conditions and communicate security-related concerns, unusual activity, hazards, and/or incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
