• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help control access, observe unusual behavior, and support a professional environment.
• Assist with security‑related requests such as escort support, directions, and reporting of hazards and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to restrain individuals when required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
