The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Facility Security Officer – Full Time at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.
Salary Range: $39,436.00 – $47,715.20 based on experience
Shifts- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Under supervision, patrols assigned areas to detect and prevent crime, respond to emergency situations. Conducts or assists in conducting investigations involving criminal activity in the facility or institution. Operates and inspects emergency vehicles in the performance of routine and specialized duties.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities

High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Facility Security Officer 2 (PST
051) or position equivalent. Some positions may require Georgia P.O.S.T. certification. Some positions may require area-specific certifications or eligibility.
