Position OverviewAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This Part‑Time role allows flexibility and opportunities to build a schedule that works for you.
Job Details- Position type:
Part Time - Pay rate: $17.99 - $23.08 / hour
- Job schedule:
Sat, Sun 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support restricted area access control in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements, maintaining professionalism while helping deter unauthorized activity and support security‑related operations.
- At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
- Pepper spray certification preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required under all federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
- Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
