Job Schedule- Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support healthcare operations by assisting with directions, de‑escalation, and other security‑related duties as assigned while maintaining a professional presence.
- Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that may include morgue areas.
- Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
