Job Description

You will complete work orders, perform unit turns, troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues, maintain community areas, use your own tools, and deliver excellent customer service at a multifamily property. Day shift, contract role through BGSF.

Key Responsibilities

• To complete resident work orders (plumbing, electrical, appliances, light carpentry)
• To perform unit turns/make-ready tasks including patch, paint, caulk, and fixture replacement
• To troubleshoot basic electrical issues (outlets, switches, lighting)
• To troubleshoot basic plumbing issues (toilets, drains, faucets, leaks)
• To maintain safety standards and communicate professionally with residents and staff

Required Skills

• Previous maintenance experience (apartment, hotel, commercial, or similar)
• Own set of basic hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
• Reliability Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.

Preferred Skills

• Apartment or multifamily maintenance experience
• EPA/HVAC certification (preferred, not required)
• Experience using work order systems

About BGSF

You will be employed by BGSF, a staffing agency, and placed on assignment at a property management community. This is a contract role with opportunities for future assignments based on performance and client needs.
