Position: Tradesman - Engineering Monday- Friday day shift - Full-Time
Job Summary:

Support the department and maintenance team by performing basic, routine building maintenance tasks under direct supervision in a healthcare environment, assisting with preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and light repairs. Builds foundational skills in safety, tools, and service excellence.

Core Responsibilities and

Essential Functions:

* Provides basic facility maintenance support including inspections, preventive tasks, and assisting skilled trades in a healthcare environment.

* Perform light repairs and preventive maintenance such as positive pressure checks and hood inspections on facility systems.

* Assist skilled trades with larger repair and installation projects.

* Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, checking sprinkler gauges and minor building components.

* Complete work orders in system.

* Report building issues promptly to supervisors.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas.

* Support emergency response activities as directed.

* Completes proper maintenance and documented in compliance with DNV standards

* Completes all activities in compliance with codes and regulatory standards

* All other mechanical duties as assigned.

Education:

Required:

* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

* Enrolled in Facility Maintenance Program from trade school
