The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for all repairs related to building systems.
Responsibilities- Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct minor repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Install and set up new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departmental staff regarding facility operations and maintenance issues.
- Document all installation, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Basic knowledge of building systems.
- Knowledge of construction practices in Electrical, carpentry and plumbing trades.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of building maintenance experience.

The posted range reflects the full pay band for the position. The expected pay range below represents where most candidates are hired, based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.
- Expected Pay Range: $21.60-$24.40
- Full Pay Range: $21.60-$33.40
- Pay Grade: 7
