Overview
Refrigeration Technicians, commonly known as Refrigeration Mechanics, repair, install and troubleshoot refrigeration systems. They can work on industrial or residential climate-control systems, such as HVAC units, ice machines, beverage equipment and refrigerated storage units. HVAC Installers install, repair, replace, and maintain HVAC systems for homes and businesses. Resumes for this position showcase such duties as installing indoor and outdoor equipment, as well as media filters and humidifiers;
removing and reinstalling ductwork; and replacing compressors and coils.
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
