You will interpret blueprints and produce high-quality welds on various materials and thicknesses in a busy, hands‑on production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding as the primary welding process on actuators, stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural components.
  • Carry out TIG welding as needed, particularly on stainless steel and other precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand welding specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Prepare materials and work pieces for welding, including cleaning, positioning, and securing components.
  • Select appropriate welding settings, consumables, and techniques based on material type and thickness (e.g., 3/16 stainless, 10/18 carbon).
  • Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe, working condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Work safely in a non‑climate‑controlled, dirty environment while following all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
  • Support production goals by meeting deadlines and being available for overtime when needed.
  • Collaborate with floor personnel and leadership to continuously improve processes and output.
Essential Skills
  • 1–2 years of experience with MIG welding in a production or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Experience welding materials such as 3/16 stainless and 10/18 carbon.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high‑quality welds.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a physically demanding, dirty environment.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • TIG welding experience, particularly on stainless steel, is a strong plus.
  • Comfort working with occasional structural welding projects.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to adapt to different shifts, including the potential to move to four 10‑hour days after demonstrating strong performance.
Why Work Here?

The organization offers a 401(k) plan and immediate vacation eligibility upon becoming a permanent employee.
