As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, conversion, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and removal of ATMs, Air/Vac equipment, and other Cash Depot products throughout your assigned territory. This role combines mechanical troubleshooting, technical service, installation work, customer support, and field operations while allowing you to work independently and manage your daily schedule.
What You'll Do Equipment Installation & Maintenance- Install, convert, repair, and remove ATMs, Air/Vac equipment, and other Cash Depot products.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, hardware, and equipment issues.
- Perform ATM cash replenishment and coin removal services as scheduled.
- Complete software updates, diagnostics, and equipment testing.
- Partner with dispatch to complete service requests and installations.
- Maintain inventory and communicate parts and supply needs.
- Complete required service documentation accurately and on time.
- Meet department performance metrics related to efficiency, safety, and first-time fix rates.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Represent Cash Depot professionally at all customer locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers.
- Support customer needs while ensuring all security procedures are followed.
- Assist with training and ride-alongs for other technicians.
- Recommend process and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in ongoing technical training programs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to safely lift and move equipment required for the position.
- ATM, kiosk, vending, HVAC, telecommunications, or field service experience.
- Technical troubleshooting experience.
- Military, mechanical, maintenance, or service technician background.
- Cash handling equipment experience.

- Start and end times may vary based on customer appointments, installation schedules, and operational requirements
- Occasional overtime may be required to support customer needs and business demands
- Limited after-hours work may be required for emergency service calls, major installations, or project work
The position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, climbing, and operation of tools and lifting equipment. Team members may be required to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. and work with larger equipment utilizing approved lifting devices. The role includes extensive driving, customer-site visits, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
