Life Enrichment Assistant

Full‑time position at NHC Chattanooga, Monday‑Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Responsible for delivering therapeutic programs that meet each resident’s individual needs in a fun and engaging environment. Desired candidate is compassionate, caring, creative, and enthusiastic about working with seniors.

Salary: $14 – $17 per hour, based on experience.

• Develop and implement a well‑rounded wellness program for residents in long‑term care, memory care, or rehab settings (including weekend and holiday hours).
• Complete assessments, care plans, and associated paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal programming guidelines.
• Infuse a sense of fun into daily activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with other departments to build staff morale.
• Basic typing and computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Publisher for producing monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Self‑motivated, creative, positive attitude, genuine enthusiasm.
• Able to work with family members, partners, and the community.
• High School diploma or GED required.
