We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a cross‑functional group of Full Stack, Backend, Dev Ops, and QA engineers. This leader will combine deep technical understanding with strong people management skills to drive the design, development, and deployment of Aspect's Workforce Management software across multiple environments, such as Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and Premise. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will help shape the technical direction of Aspect's Workforce Management software, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of scalable, production‑ready solutions that support our business goals.

As part of the engineering leadership team, you will collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to align on strategy, define priorities, and deliver innovative, high‑impact features.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Full Stack, Backend, Dev Ops, and QA engineers.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Conduct one‑on‑ones, performance reviews, and career development planning.
• Guide the team in adopting modern engineering practices (Agile, CI/CD, test‑driven development, clean code).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship across the team.
• Oversee system architecture and design in collaboration with senior engineers and product architects.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and performant in production.
• Drive continuous improvement in data pipelines, Infrastructure as Code deployment models, and backend service reliability.

• Partner with product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate a broad range of capabilities into a broader platform.
• Contribute technical insights to roadmap discussions and influence prioritization.

• Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Actively engage in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of features while maintaining technical quality.
• Experience with data‑informed delivery and KPI tracking.

• Identify opportunities to improve engineering workflows and tooling.
• Promote rigorous code reviews, testing, and monitoring practices.
• Encourage experimentation and adoption of new technologies and methods.

• 4+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or technical lead role.
• Experience with code repository tools, such as Git.
• Experience with IDEs, such as Microsoft Visual Studio or similar.
• Nice to have expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate diverse engineering talent.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success managing competing priorities in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
