Position Overview

The Front Desk/Receptionist will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location.

Hours:

Friday 12pm–6pm;
Saturday 9am–4pm;
Sunday 1pm–5pm;
Monday 2pm–8pm.

• Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym
• Personally check each member into the gym using the proper check‑in procedures
• Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures
• Provide new guests with a tour of the gym and help answer questions about current membership options
• Assist guests with purchasing a new membership
• Answer phone in a professional and courteous manner and use proper phone greeting techniques
• Process retail and concession sales
• Clean and maintain the front desk area

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members
• Ability to multi‑task
• Sales experience preferred
