The club maintains a strong golf tradition while focusing on elevating its golf programming, player development, and overall member experience.
Position OverviewThe Assistant Golf Professional will play a key role in daily golf operations while taking leadership responsibility for select programs and staff oversight. This role provides significant growth opportunities within a progressive and team-driven golf department.
Essential Responsibilities- Lead and manage the club's PGA Jr. League Program
- Assist in oversight, training, and daily management of outside service staff
- Assist with tournament operations including setup, scoring, and execution
- Course marking and rules implementation
- Assist with pace of play initiatives and player service standards
- Support merchandising operations including product presentation, inventory assistance, and member engagement
- Provide excellent member and guest service in all areas of golf operations
- Assist with instruction programs and player development initiatives
- Support outside events and club programming as needed
- Tournament Stipend Opportunities
- Additional compensation for Tuesday outside events
- Staff Merchandise Purchase Program (Staff Deal)
- PGA of America dues paid by the club
- PGA Professional Education Program (Bookwork) reimbursement upon completion of each level
- $2,000 salary increase upon completion of each PGA Education Level
