About this Role
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing tools, equipment, and other materials. This role supports efficiency by ensuring employees have the right tools and parts when needed, while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized warehouse environment.
What You'll Do- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of tools, parts, and materials
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials and tools for jobsite delivery or pickup
- Track and manage tool inventory, including check-in/check-out processes
- Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear; coordinate repairs or replacements
- Maintain accurate inventory records using tracking systems or logs
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Perform deliveries to jobsites as needed
- Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of warehouse, construction, or electrical supply experience required
- Basic knowledge of tools and materials is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift experience or certification preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills with field and office personnel
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment (varied temperatures, noise, dust)
- Warehouse setting with regular interaction with field personnel
- Occasional local travel for deliveries to jobsites
