Location:

Chattanooga, TN

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

2nd Shift

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and environments

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, quality, and accuracy
• Record and process received goods using inventory management systems
• Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders according to customer and carrier requirements
• Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and transportation providers
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for efficiency and safety
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment as certified
• Investigate and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Assist with inventory audits and additional warehouse projects as assigned
• Communicate with purchasing, production, customer service, and vendors regarding shipments and inventory status
