Description

Summit Center is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing early intervention team. Our preferred candidate is experienced, with training in parent coaching and play-based therapy. Our Occupational Therapist will have a strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full potential.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate goals
  • Maintain timely treatment records and progress reports
  • Consistently assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide parent training and support as an integral part of the therapy program
  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary and collaborative team
Qualifications

Demonstrable experience and other qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Dedicated to quality, with a willingness to learn and share
  • Experience working with children with developmental delay or disability preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must have or obtain a OT license in the State of Washington
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications and a valid Driver's License and/or reliable personal transportation
