OverviewWe are looking for a candidate to join our team representing the Southwestern Washington territory. We offer warm leads generated through referrals and online advertising, and you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and close sales.
Job DescriptionAs a Sales Representative at Perma Bilt, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by selling post frame buildings to our customers. You will travel to customers’ homes, assess their needs, design and price the structure that fits their needs and the requirements of the property. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of warm leads and working closely with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and close sales.
Qualifications- Proven track record in sales, with experience in customer‑facing roles; direct experience working with homeowners is a plus
- Someone who thrives on seeking out new opportunities and managing leads from prospect to closing
- Eager to hit the road, meet clients face‑to‑face, and truly understand their needs
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and proactively determining the best solutions for customers
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently from a home‑based office
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with customers in their homes and at their project sites
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including Saturdays
- Knowledge of post frame buildings or construction industry experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Respond promptly to warm leads generated through referrals and online advertising and establish initial contact with potential customers
- Conduct in‑person sales to evaluate the customer’s needs
- Build strong relationships with customers, provide ongoing support, answer questions, and address concerns throughout the sales process
- Travel to multiple customers in a day
- Schedule appointments Monday through Saturday
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in our custom CRM system
Small base salary with reduced commission in the first year, then straight commission. Average potential salary $165,000++ annually based on sales closing performance. Salary range: $75,000 – $165,000 per year.
